Story
Welcome to our swim club! We have been providing fun and engaging training sessions since 2012 at Formby Pool Trust, which boasts a beautiful pool and excellent amenities for our members. Our coaches are committed to excellence and helping swimmers improve their abilities. As a Swim England registered club, we are dedicated to bringing the benefits of swimming to the community. Join us and participate in SwimEngland galas as part of the squad!

Get Involved
At our swim club, we prioritize creating a fun and safe environment for all our members. We are a SwimMark accredited club, participating in Swim England galas. You can be sure that you're joining a community that's committed to providing quality training and development while keeping your safety and enjoyment in mind. Come join us!
Squad Training
Swimmers are organized into three squads to train for technique across all 4 strokes, build endurance and prepare for competition. See our member details in our Members Area.
Competition
Swimmers have the chance to enter competition at club level, to represent the club as a team member and individual in Swim England Galas, and achieve official competitive swim times towards their national ranking.
Coaching
We are also passionate about establishing a development path for experienced club swimmers, providing opportunities for them to establish themselves as swimming teachers and coaches of the future.
Youth Volunteer Awards
We aim to provide young individuals with varied volunteering opportunities, including coaching, event hosting, and officiating.
These experiences can make part of with The Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and provide an introduction to volunteering.
